Why we can get heartburn? Stomach acid is the liquid in the stomach that breaks the food and kills the bacteria. People can get heartburn because of excessive stomach acid. You will feel burn, nausea, stomachache and headache.
And what is the connection with caffeine? Caffeine has enzyme that can trigger stomach acid for example coffee, tea, carbonated water, sparkling water and so on. Drinking coffee is good for our heart and blood circulation as long as not too much. But the side effect of coffee is heartburn. Not everyone will get heartburn of it. People with stomach genetic problem are the most getting heartburn.

Stomach acid is no danger. We have to keep it in stable condition. How? If you feel “cool” in your stomach that means you are fine and in good condition.  High intake caffeine can make it worst. So how can we drink coffee without getting heartburn? Do not empty your stomach before drinking coffee. You can eat bread, rice or any others carbohydrate. Only mix coffee you can drink such as coffee milk, ice coffee because of less caffeine. Pure coffee has high caffeine. And do not drink more than 2 cup of coffee in a day. Anyway, if you drink too much coffee, you will get other health problem. So drink considerately.
